Walk on Country, yarning with local mob. Visit a traditional rock art site with axe grinding grooves. Learn about our traditional lifestyle, local history and identify culturally significant plants used for food, medicine and survival.
Join Budawang Yuin educators Uncle Phil Butler and Felix Salmon for this unique on Country experience on the NSW South Coast. We will also provide some traditional medicinal teas for you to enjoy on the walk!
We will meet in Milton before a brief drive into the bush along a fire road. The walk is approximately a 4km round trip and while it is generally flat, it includes some steep and overgrown sections. Further details will be sent to you upon your booking.
A car with reasonable clearance/AWD is recommended (e.g. Corolla Cross/Subaru Outback).
Saturday 30 August from 9am to 2pm.
Adults $90
Kids 10-17 $50
To ensure the safety of the group, bookings with kids must include one adult for every two kids.
